On 18 April, EPF held its Annual General Meeting in Olten, Switzerland. The meeting was a success, bringing members together to review activities and governance matters, while also marking an important moment of transition for the organisation.

The AGM was also a bittersweet moment, as EPF bid farewell to three long-standing contributors. Michel Quidort, EPF President since 2017, stepped down following his election as President of FNAUT, and reflected on the insights gained during his time leading the organisation. Willy Smeulders, who has been involved with EPF since its early days, was recognised for his long-standing commitment, constructive approach and valuable support to both the Management Board and the Secretariat, particularly since the establishment of the EPF office. He will continue to represent EPF in selected committees. Christopher Irwin, also a long-time Management Board member and advisor, was thanked in absentia for his dedicated service and important contributions to EPF’s work over the years.

Elections to the Management Board were also held. Dominique Rolland (FNAUT), an experienced transport professional and long-standing member of the passenger community in France, was newly elected. Jorge Morera was re-elected for a further term, continuing his work representing passenger interests, and Josef Schneider was confirmed as Chairman, ensuring continuity in the leadership of the organisation.
