Arriën Kruyt, Member of the board of European Passengers Federation, gives us examples of how passengers are unaware of the full possibilities of booking an international train ticket and cannot find websites that allow you to purchase a combination of tickets at a lower price. He concludes that if a passenger friendly approach was set up, encouraged by the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure (CER), the number of international train passengers will double in a short time.
The reputation of international train tickets is not as positive as it should be. International train tickets are considered expensive and difficult to book. However, booking these trains can be cheaper if the passengers can full access to the information regarding their purchase.
