On 23. September 2024, EPF embarked on the ‘Europe for Rail’ train for a special journey from Brussels to Berlin that marked the beginning of the InnoTrans 2024 trade fair. This event, organized by Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking and the European Commission, brought together leading experts in the rail sector to discuss the future of rail transport in Europe. To add an interactive activity to the journey, EPF hosted a quiz designed to engage passengers in thoughtful discussions on key passenger-related issues in the rail industry.
The quiz featured two teams composed of rail industry experts and played out in a competitive format. With a mix of light-hearted and insightful questions, the quiz encouraged participants to reflect on important topics such as passenger rights, accessibility, cross-border connections, and rail innovation. Though 19 questions were prepared, only a portion could be asked due to time constraints, but the quiz still succeeded in sparking conversation and collaboration among participants. With a final score of 4-4, both teams tied, symbolizing the teamwork needed to tackle future challenges in the European rail sector.
Big thanks to the EU-Rail organising team and to our quiz participants for their enthusiastic participation!
