Last 24th of November, the European Passengers’ Federation participated in the third edition of the MOB Lab Congress, a Portuguese congress on mobility.

We were represented by Sandra Lima, Project Officer for EPF, in the round table on “Mobility culture: Where to start and how to improve mobility consciousness?”. In the fruitful 45 minute discussion, Sandra referred to the need to listen to passengers to effectively change mobility patterns. Passengers must also feel safe in using different mobility options and for this, investments are needed in adequate infrastructure for cyclists, pedestrians and better public transport networks. Sandra concluded how important it is to have affordable, efficient and accessible alternatives for all passengers, who might have very different levels of mobility.

EPF would like to thank the invitation from the organisers IFE by Abilways Portugal and Porto City Hall.
