EPF is excited to be a partner of the new Horizon Europe-funded CCAMbassador (Connected, Cooperative and Automated MoBility Assessment & Stakeholder Dedicated and Operational awareness Raising) project, which officially kicked off in Brussels on 2–3 July.

The CCAMbassador project, funded under Horizon Europe, complements the coordination and alignment efforts of the CCAM Partnership by expanding stakeholder engagement beyond research and innovation communities. It supports stakeholders in moving into operations by identifying key building blocks for deployment, strengthening cooperation — especially among EU Member States and Associated Countries — and promoting the use of the EU Common Evaluation Methodology (EU-CEM).

The project also aims to expand and adapt the EU-wide Knowledge Base on CCAM, targeting both implementers and citizens. Its overarching vision is to foster the sound and harmonised deployment of trusted, inclusive, and widely accepted CCAM solutions across Europe. This includes integrating CCAM into the existing mobility ecosystem while addressing societal objectives through knowledge sharing, capacity building, and a better understanding of public awareness and needs.

EPF will contribute by supporting awareness raising among citizens, end-users, and non-experts, ensuring that diverse public perspectives are taken into account in the project’s work. Over the next three years, EPF looks forward to working closely with the 22 partners involved to help shape inclusive and user-oriented CCAM deployment across Europe.
