EPF welcomes two new members!

At the General Meeting on 25 September, EPF was pleased to welcome two new members: the European Rail Passengers Union and Zero.

The European Rail Passengers Union (ERPU) is a Europe-wide direct membership organisation advocating for better cross-border rail by bringing passengers’ voices into the political debate. Since the end of August 2026, anyone interested can join ERPU as an official member, helping to strengthen the passenger voice! Recent activities include a webinar on the EU Passenger Package with Back-on-Track, official feedback to the EU, and a ticketing workshop with EPF on the European train to InnoTrans. We look forward to working together to strengthen the passenger voice and make cross-border rail easier and more attractive across Europe!

Founded in Portugal in 2015, ZERO is a national non-profit organisation working for a more sustainable and socially cohesive society, with a strong focus on climate, the environment and sustainable mobility. ZERO advocates for cleaner and more accessible transport, including dedicated bus corridors in Lisbon and Porto, public transport without forced transfers, cleaner air around schools, and greater transparency through regular publication of mobility data. With ZERO joining EPF, our network gains a stronger presence on the Atlantic edge of Europe and an additional voice for sustainable mobility and public transport.
