{"id":27,"date":"2013-12-04T11:09:54","date_gmt":"2013-12-04T10:09:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epf.eu\/wp\/?page_id=27"},"modified":"2016-04-05T09:23:24","modified_gmt":"2016-04-05T07:23:24","slug":"conference","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.epf.eu\/wp\/conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference 2016 (Berlin)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em; color: #1a80b6;\">EPF conference Berlin 2016<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2>14th Conference and Annual General Meeting of the European Passengers&#8217; Federation<br \/>\n8-10 April 2016, Berlin (Germany)<\/h2>\n<p>The events will take place in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tagen-in-berlin.de\/tagungsraeume\/festsaal\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Festsaal&#8221; of Berliner Stadtmission<\/a> (Lehrter Stra\u00dfe 68, 10557 Berlin), in walking distance from Berlin Hauptbahnhof &#8211; main station.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be begin on <strong>Friday<\/strong> afternoon with reports and discussion of the work of EPF member associations and discussion of transport issues.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Saturday<\/strong> morning the conference will be opened by a presentation by Dr. Dieter-Lebrecht Koch MEP on multimodal information and booking systems and activities of the European Parliament in this area. The morning will concentrate on passenger rights in using long-distance coaches and will give views from the European Commission, consumer organizations and the German national enforcement body in this area. The afternoon will be started with an introduction by Michael Cramer MEP concentrating on cross border train connections, followed by detailed examples and discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday<\/strong> will give an opportunity to tour Berlin by public transport or go by cross-border train to Kostrzyn and possibly Gorzow. Berlin is Germany&#8217;s vibrant capital.
